The Constitution
Under the hand of the Living God we hereby decree that the Kingdom of Immanuel is formed.
The Kingdom Statement
We firmly believe that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the Father of all mankind, Creator of one human race, tribes, tongues and their nations. He is King of kings, and Lord of lords.
We further firmly believe that the Messiah, Yeshua, is the Son of the Living God and the second Person of the Godhead, born of a virgin for the purpose of sacrificing His own life for the restoration of the children of God to the Kingdom. It is through our repentance and redemption that we have access to the power of His blood, death and resurrection. The children of the Kingdom now stand in victory over every principality and force of darkness, whether on the earth or under the earth, as conquerors.
We further believe that in the beginning God created us male and female, and that the two shall be one in marriage — serving as the Father’s earthly medium to affect the earth by way of His mercy, grace, love, and justice through His Holy Spirit until Yeshua returns.
Under the hand of the Living God we hereby decree that the Kingdom of Immanuel is formed. Amen.
The citizens of the Kingdom of Immanuel
Whose firm will is to establish a Kingdom government under the rule of the Creator of the Universe — promoting economic and social freedoms, under the rule of law, for the advancement and cultivation of the Kingdom through peaceful relations with fellow nations far and away, still yet abiding by biblical truths.
Thereby recognising and acknowledging the Creator of the Universe as our true Sovereign and Ruler of us all, we do hereby proclaim nation-wide the present Constitution for the statehood of the Kingdom of Immanuel as a nation.
Creation of the Kingdom
- The Kingdom of Immanuel shall be an independent, unified and indivisible state.
- The form of political structure of the state shall be a semi-absolute monarchy, with a parliamentary system of government and checks and balances.
- “Kingdom of Immanuel” shall be the name of the State.
- The head of state and government shall be through hereditary succession and shall be called the Crown Prince Regent. None shall ever hold the title of King or Queen — although Immanuel is a Kingdom, each ruler must recognise that they simply serve in stead of our true King, the God of heaven and earth.
- The Crown Prince Regent shall be Head of State and Government, and has delegated the role of government administration to the Prime Minister, who is duly elected by the citizens of Immanuel for a term of five years, and may serve one additional term if re-elected.
- All authority exercised by the Prime Minister as head of government is delegated by the Crown Prince Regent and exercised in his name. The Prime Minister serves as the elected representative of the Crown Prince Regent.
- The Prime Minister is unseated only by the citizens at election, or upon the concurrence of the Crown Prince Regent. No vote of any other body removes the Prime Minister of itself.
- Should the Prime Minister refuse a call to resign, the Crown Prince Regent issues a decree revoking the delegated authority. Thereafter the office holder has no authority and no claim, and continued occupation of the office is a trespass upon it.
Chapter Two
Rights held by every person
The Constitution binds the Kingdom to its people before it empowers the Kingdom over them. Among the guarantees written into Chapter Two:
- Everyone is free by birth and equal before the law — regardless of colour, language, sex, religion, political or other opinion, national, ethnic or social belonging, origin, property, title, or place of residence.
- The inviolable right to life, protected by law.
- Capital punishment is prohibited.
- Physical or mental coercion of a person detained or otherwise restricted in liberty is impermissible.
- No one shall be deprived of citizenship, and the Kingdom protects its citizens regardless of where in the world they are.
Nine chapters
The Constitution of the Kingdom of Immanuel is set out in nine chapters and one hundred and four articles.
- Chapter OneGeneral Provisions — creation of the Kingdom, territory, the exclusive domain of the state, language, and the symbols of the Kingdom.
- Chapter TwoCitizenship, Basic Rights and Freedoms — acquisition and protection of citizenship, equality before the law, life, liberty, conscience, expression, property, and family.
- Chapter ThreeThe Council of Elders and the Royal House of Regents — the legislature of the Kingdom: the supreme representative body, exercising legislative power and determining the principal directions of domestic and foreign policy.
- Chapter FourThe Crown Prince Regent — the office of the monarch, succession, powers, and the limits upon them.
- Chapter FiveThe Government — the office of the duly elected Prime Minister, to whom the administration of government is delegated, and the ministries of state.
- Chapter SixJudicial Power — exercised by means of constitutional control, justice, and the other forms determined by law.
- Chapter SevenState Finances and Control — the annual budget, taxation, the treasury, and audit.
- Chapter EightState Defence — defensive war as a sovereign right of the Kingdom, and the ordering of its forces.
- Chapter NineRevision & Transitional Provisions — who may propose amendment, and how the Constitution enters into force.
A working draft
What is published here is the first draft of the Constitution, dated 1 January 2025. It is under review by the Council and by counsel, and the text will be amended before it is adopted. Nothing on this page should be read as the settled or final law of the Kingdom.
